For the past few years, I've been sharing my summer book recommendations. I've heard from so many of you that you love having a book list to refer back to while you're enjoying summer break.
This summer I want to do something new! I'm hosting a BOOK CLUB for teachers!
We'll be reading the book, I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times by Monica Guzman.
This book is super pertinent right now! If you're a social studies teacher, you will especially find this book relevant to today's classroom. However this book is for anyone, and all are welcome to join our Book Club!
Here's the thing. This is your summer break. So this Book Club is not about finishing certain chapters in a certain time frame, or required questions or homework. Just read and enjoy the book, and plan to join us for the Book Club discussion on Tuesday, July 23!
Plus, when you sign up for Book Club, I'll be sharing FREE resources that you can use in your classroom based on the concepts taught in the book!
Seriously, this book is for anyone, and I hope you'll take the time to join us!
You can sign up for Book Club by clicking here.
Grab a copy of the book from your public library, local book store, or purchase from Amazon here.
Also, be sure to check out the book recommendation lists from previous summers:
See you at Book Club!!
