The posters can be printed, but can also be displayed digitally using a projector. The posters serve as a guide as they answer questions and provide examples. Students can follow along in the student booklets.

Reading Passages:

This resources includes two reading passages. Two differentiated levels are provided. Reading passages include "What is a Producer?" and "Consumer Rights and Responsibilities." Please note that informational text is often higher level due to vocabulary terms.



Scenario Cards:

This resource includes 3 sets of real life scenario cards to help your students practice what they have learned.

Set 1 covers situations regarding saving and budgeting.

Set 2 covers situations of consumer rights and responsibilities.

Set 3 covers situations of wants and needs.


Activities & Graphic Organizers:

This resource includes center activities such as sorting pictures for producers & consumers, or goods & services. A wants vs. needs and personal savings plan is included. Students will also analyze the needs of a country, and will determine all the ways in which they are consumers each and every day.



Assessment:

I have included an assessment that is completely EDITABLE. This two page assessment includes True/False, Multiple Choice, Short Answer, and making determinations concerning consumer rights. You can change, add, or delete any of the questions to better fit your student needs.
