Chronology of events is imperative to understanding history. This bundle includes 15 timeline practice worksheets. Timeline analysis allows your students to make connections, organize information, and visualize and recognize patterns in a series of events. Your students will analyze timelines covering US history from 1900-1945, and will answer questions pertaining to each time frame.
UPDATE: This resource is now Google Compatible. Each timeline set includes a link to access through Google Slides. Everything is ready to go for your students to complete online. Great for distance learning or enrichment practice.
Timelines are divided as follows:
SET ONE:
1900-1913: (ex. Model T. Ford, Immigration, NAACP formation)
1914-1917: (ex. Babe Ruth, US declares neutrality, Zimmerman Telegraph)
1917-1920: (ex. WWI, Treaty of Versailles, 18th & 19th Amendments)
1921-1924: (ex. Emergency Quota Act, Warren G. Harding)
1925-1930: (ex. Charles Lindbergh flight, Stock Market Crash)
SET TWO:
1930-1933: (ex. Great Depression, Public Works Projects)
1934-1937: (ex. New Deal, transportation advancements)
1937-1939: (Hindenburg Disaster, Fair Labor Standards Act)
1930-1939 (Students fill in missing info using previous timelines)
SET THREE:
1940: Significant legislation & events (ex. Selective Service, Total Embargo on Japan)
1941: Events leading up to Pearl Harbor
1941: Pearl Harbor Attack (sequence of events)
1942-1943: US involvement in WWII (ex. Guadalcanal, Manhattan Project)
1944: US involvement in WWII (ex. Normandy Invasion)
1945: US involvement and end of WWII (ex. Battle of Iwo Jima, Atomic Bombing, Surrender)
