In this activity, students analyze fashion during the 1920s by rotating through stations. Students view primary source images from multiple perspectives. All of the student recordings are completed within their flipbook. At the end of the activity, students use their data to answer an overarching question about fashion for different people during the Roaring Twenties.

Students analyze 6 primary sources (photos, document, political cartoons) to better understand the temperance movement and the problems with Prohibition during the 1920s. This interactive lapbook is a great way for your students to organize information about the Great Migration and the Harlem Renaissance. This lapbook can be used with your own textbook, reading guides, or choice of websites. However, within this resource you will find a lesson plan with links to websites that I specifically use when teaching this content. A page of QR Code links that can be accessed using a QR reader (such as an app on a phone or tablet) is provided, but you can use this lapbook as a WebQuest as well.
